Drama Workshop: The Marvellous Doctors for Magical Creatures

Ages 7-10 Ingrid Schaeffer, Chair of the Theatre Department at The Educational Center for the Arts, will return for a fantastic drama workshop! The Marvellous Doctors for Magical Creatures by Jodie Lancet-Grant, illustrated by Lydia Corry, is a children's picture book about Ava and her dads, who are doctors for magical creatures like dragons and unicorns. The story follows Ava as she helps solve the mystery of a unicorn's tummy ache. In this workshop, children learn about friendship, kindness, and the importance of being true to oneself. Come to the library and act out this wonderful story with props and costume pieces. We will end the program with a visual art activity. Please register each child individually.
