Knit for Food Knit-a-thon & Woven Mug Rug Pop-Up
with Milford Makers and Milford Makes "Knit for Food" is a 12-hour global virtual crafting marathon that raises funds for organizations working to end food insecurity, including Feeding America, World Central Kitchen, No Kid Hungry, and Meals on Wheels. While "Knit" is in the name, this event is open to crafters of all types. Whether you crochet, spin, weave, embroider, or craft in any other way, your participation makes a massive difference! In addition to the global virtual event, Milford Makers is hosting an in-person crafting session on the day of the Knit-a-Thon at the Milford Public Library. Milford Makes will also be hosting a "Woven Mug Rug Pop-Up" and accepting donations of art & craft supplies during the event. It will be a wonderful way to log some hours together, share snacks, and cheer each other on.
