Poetry Book Club
Join us at Howe Library for Poetry Book Club; a relaxed, welcoming space to enjoy poems together and share what they spark in you. Each month we’ll read a selection of poems from a chosen book and then gather to chat about favorite lines, themes, and impressions. Thursday, March 26th The Carrying by Ada Limón The Carrying by Ada Limón is an intimate and resonant collection that explores themes of fertility, illness, love, and the natural world. Limón’s language is clear yet lyrical, making complex emotions feel immediate and accessible. The poems balance vulnerability with strength, inviting readers into moments of uncertainty and quiet resilience. This book discussion program is HYBRID. We will meet in the library but you may also attend via Zoom. Click here for an Zoom meeting invitation. You can email Mike at mike.morris@thehowe.org for a copy of the book, or more information.
