Tackling Menopause Nutrition & Cooking Workshop with Dr. Nora E. Hanke
Wednesday, April 15 from 5-7 pm This 2hr. class will focus on menopause as a natural part of life. The material is based on information provided in the book, Your Body in Balance, by Neal Barnard, MD. The topics covered will include hot flashes, unpredictable emotions, changes in sexual function, and memory fog. Participants will learn strategies to apply in their daily lives to prevent, manage, or even reverse these hormone-related conditions. The class features a video lecture, discussion, and the opportunity to taste plant-based dishes following cooking demonstrations. Each attendee will go home with written materials and references for further learning. Your instructor is a lifestyle medicine board licensed physician and licensed Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine Food for Life instructor.
