🫖 T-Rex Tea Party: Pinkies Out, Tails Out!

Thursday, July 23, 2026
2:00 PM — 3:00 PM

Are you a proper lady or gentleman... or a roaring dinosaur? Why not be both? Inspired by The Lego Librarian, we are combining high-society manners with prehistoric chaos for the ultimate Tea-Rex Tea Party! Dress in your finest high-tea attire or your favorite dinosaur costume, and get ready for a hilarious, interactive afternoon. We’ll follow a footprint obstacle course around the library to practice our etiquette—learning how to sip quietly with a pinkie up, and how to sip loudly with a dinosaur tail out! 🦖 What’s in Store: The Tea Party Activity Walk: A silly, active obstacle course where you’ll test your balance, practice bowing, and show off your best roars. Prehistoric Crafts: Make your very own "Tea-Rex" clothespin puppets and paper teacups (complete with a giant dinosaur bite taken out of them!). Fancy Photo Booth: Strike a pose with fancy hats, teapots, and giant dinosaur mouths. Tea & Treats: Enjoy delicious lemonade "tea" and a mountain of cupcakes! Details: This event is completely free and perfect for young dino-lovers and their families. No registration required—just stomp (or gracefully walk) on over to join the fun!
