A Christmas Caper: A tale of mystery, friendship, and a Christmas goose…
Wrap up the holiday season with a mystery onstage at your local library! Join us in the auditorium on Monday December 28th at 2 PM to enjoy a performance inspired by Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes. Two Victorian seamstresses with theatrical ambitions wait outside 221b Baker street in hopes of meeting the famed Mr. Sherlock Holmes and the intrepid Dr. Watson. Through a series of surprising events, the two ladies find themselves assuming the hats - and duties! - of the two missing detectives to chase down a thief, a blue carbuncle, and a continually-escaping Christmas goose. Drawing on the mysteries of Sherlock Holmes and snippets from a feast of holiday tales and songs - this lively caper tells the story of two friends taking a leap into the unknown and discovering unforeseen talents and unexpected adventure while solving the mystery of a most inexhaustible goose. Featuring Shakespearean actress, Poornima Kirby, and performer, artist and puppeteer, Lakshmi Bose, this tall tale offers fun, hilarity and surprising heart all while solving crime and finding what seemed lost!
