Astronomy with Smart Telescopes

Wednesday, January 27, 2027
6:00 PM — 7:00 PM

There has never been a better time than right now to begin the astronomy hobby! Join us at Milford Public Library on Wednesday, January 27th at 6:00pm. to learn about how smart telescopes make astronomy very easy. Smart telescopes are the new way to view and image the sky. They are robotic all-in-one devices that incorporate the optics, the tracking, and the camera that would need to be purchased and set up independently in prior years. Smart telescopes use a technique called, live stacking, to build the image of the object that is being viewed on your phone, right before your eyes. We will coer the options available. For questions regarding this astronomy program, email Fred Danowski at fdanowski@milfordct.gov.
