Author Talk with Tillie Walden: Charity & Sylvia
Join us for a night of conversation with author and cartoonist, Tillie Walden, to celebrating her newest graphic novel, Charity & Sylvia. Set in early 19th-century, the book tells the true story of Charity Bryant and Sylvia Drake, two women who built a life together in Weybridge, Vermont. Walden will discuss the research and creative process behind Charity & Sylvia, her work with the archives at the Henry Sheldon Museum, and what drew her to this extraordinary piece of Vermont history. This program is hybrid: attend in person in the Mayer Room or by Zoom. Register for the Zoom invitation here. Join us for a book discussion of Charity & Sylvia on December 1st. More information here!
