Join us at The Pine in Lancaster for a monthly presentation and discussion of Dr. Leonard Peikoff’s recorded lecture series, Founders of Western Philosophy: Thales to Hume. We’ll meet once a month to listen to one lecture in the twelve-part series, followed by an opportunity for discussion. No background in philosophy is required—just curiosity and an interest in exploring some of the fundamental questions and ideas that have influenced Western thought. Those who attend regularly will have the opportunity to follow the development of Western philosophy from its beginnings through the major thinkers and intellectual movements that followed. The recorded lectures are presented by Dr. Leonard Peikoff, philosopher and author, and examine both the development of Western philosophical ideas and their significance from an Objectivist perspective.
