Friends Tea with Gayle and Jesse Alibozek

Join us on the second Wednesday afternoon of every month to have tea with your friends and neighbors. We are typically joined by a special guest who gives a presentation on something they are doing in our local community. This month: Gayle and Jesse Alibozek of Robbins Brook Farm will give a presentation on their new businesses venture, Microgreens, that they grow, harvest, package and deliver locally. There are 5 choices of shoots; pea, sunflower, micro broccoli and crunchy micro mix. The talk will include information on microgreens including the health benefits and nutrient values.The process of growing and harvesting in a special “grow room” at the farm will also be discussed. There will be a chance to sample the various types of microgreens they sell and even buy containers packed that day, fresh from the farm. It should be an interesting meeting with refreshments a mix of healthy greens and sweet confections provided by Lori Thoin. And of course tea.
