Mariliee's Mending & Repair Group

Among other things, the mending-and-repair group will be making cotton mesh produce bags, a project inspired by the "Mesh Bag Mama" initiative, to sell in support of sustainable habits and our local Laconia Climate Cafe. That said, feel free to drop by with any other mending or repair projects that require the use of a sewing machine, mini darning loom, or simple needle and thread. Anyone with fixing skills beyond the textile realm (carpentry, small machinery or electronics, anyone?) are most welcome. We'd love to expand our repair repertoire. (A heads up: for anyone with broken ceramics or crockery, we will be experimenting with kintsugi at our November open house.)
