Nature Journaling with Robin Rice Voigt

A New England fall is full of color. Join us as we capture some of that in drawing fall leaves. Robin will do a half hour demo, illustrating both watercolor and colored pencil techniques to achieve vibrant color mixes. Participants will have an hour to work on their own drawings and we’ll share our projects at the end. Please bring: a colorful fall leaf! Pencil and eraser, hot press watercolor paper, watercolor paints and brushes and/or colored pencils, will be supplied. This program is co-sponsored by the Howe Library and the Hanover Conservancy, and is free of charge. Registration required. Robin Rice Voigt is a graduate of New York Botanical Garden’s Botanical Art and Illustration program. She teaches Nature Journaling for Osher and is a co-founder of the Upper Valley Nature Journaling Group. Robin’s preferred media are graphite and colored pencil and she also works in watercolor and silverpoint. In addition to teaching for Osher, Robin also teaches colored pencil classes at AVA. Robin has lived in the Upper Valley for more than thirty years and delights in discovering new conservation areas to share with her students.
