Protecting Pollinators: Why They Matter and What We Can Do

Description of program: Pollinators are crucial for the ecosystem and their numbers are declining precipitously. Come and learn about who our pollinators are, the threats they face, and what we can do to help restore them and their habitats. The good news is that we each can make a difference for them, and our world. Pollinator Pathways NH is a community effort to restore habitat one yard at a time, through community partnerships, education and engagement. Kathy Youzwak is the current vice chair of Pollinator Pathways New Hampshire. Kathy is also a Certified Pollinator Steward and plants as many native plants as she can. She resides in Barrington, NH.
