Researching Your Old House

Wednesday, January 27, 2027
6:30 PM — 7:30 PM

Every house has a history, but how do you discover yours? Come learn about the architectural evolutions and social histories that make our old houses particularly interesting and special. Using a combination of sources – common and uncommon – anyone can start to assemble a fuller account of their house’s history. This program is hybrid -- attend in person in the Mayer Room, or register for the Zoom invitation here. Andrew Cushing holds a BA in Environmental Studies and History from Bowdoin College and a MS in Historic Preservation from the University of Pennsylvania. He is the executive director of Mascoma Valley Preservation, a regional preservation and economic development nonprofit based in Grafton.
