It is located at the top of the Gazebo Hill adjacent to County Road. *The Barrington Government Center Resilience Garden is an educational garden located along the walkways found between the library building and County Road. The garden is designed to be resilient to the effects of climate change that include at various times hotter, drier, and wetter conditions. It contains a variety of hardy, native, and locally sourced plants that require less watering, weeding, pesticides, and fertilizers than more traditional gardens. The garden functions as a community resource to help and encourage residents to create simple and affordable resilience gardens of their own.
