TED Democracy Live: Founding Futures

Barrington Public Library is proud to host a livestream of TED Democracy Philadelphia: Founding Futures at the library on Saturday, June 13 from 11 am - 5:30 pm. You are free to come and go as you please throughout the event as the livestream is broken into three different sessions. In between the sessions we will have activities for you to partake in as well as discussion of what we watched. This daylong symposium features 15 brand-new TED Talks focused on the evolution and future of democracy, streaming live from Philadelphia during America’s 250th anniversary. Schedule for the day: Session 1 TED Talks: 11 am - 12:30 pm Discussion: 12:30 - 1 pm Activity: 1 - 2 pm (Create your own flag for Flag Day) Session 2 TED Talks: 2 - 3:30 pm Discussion: 3:30 - 4 pm Session 3 TED Talks: 4 - 5:30 pm Join us for big ideas, thoughtful conversation and a shared civic moment.
