The Art of Sourdough

Discover the art of sourdough baking in this hands-on beginner class on Tuesday, October 6 at 5 pm with Rebekah from Bekah's Bread! Over the course of 2.5 hours, you'll learn every step of the sourdough process, from starting and caring for a sourdough starter, to mixing, shaping, and baking your own loaf. Along the way, you'll sample freshly baked sourdough bread and have the opportunity to ask questions as you build your confidence. At the end of the class, each participant will take home their own sourdough starter and a bowl of dough to finish baking at home. Whether you've always wanted to try making sourdough or are looking to improve your skills, this one-time workshop is the perfect place to get started. Rebekah will also have additional starter kits available for sale at the program. Please bring a large mixing bowl and an apron to class. All other supplies will be provided. Free and open to adults.
