1776 (Movie Screening)

The Newport Opera House Association presents a special free screening of the award-winning musical film “1776,” at the historic Newport Opera House – perfect for the entire family as we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary! Enjoy this beloved classic in a unique setting with café tables and theatre-style seating on the Main Floor, along with balcony seating. All seating is general admission and available on a first-come, first-served basis, so plan to arrive early for the best choice of seats. Admission is free, but tickets are required. Patrons may reserve up to four (4) tickets per order. Suggested donation of canned goods at door to benefit the Newport Food Pantry (NACC). Bring the family for an inspiring and entertaining evening as history comes to life on the big screen!
