CLASS: (1 of 4) Oils with Kris Stewart

Wednesday Session: May 27, June 3, June 10, June 17 1-4 pm  Learn to capture the beauty and energy of a simple still life as you follow the instructor to create your own masterpiece filled with brilliant color and dynamic brushstrokes.  In this beginner-to-intermediate, 4-session course, you will move from an initial sketch to the final highlights which will make your painting pop.  Along the way, you will learn oil painting tips and tricks, color basics and brush techniques. Come join us! Materials list: 1. 1 Da Vinci brand dual-sided 9 x 12 panel for a painting surface 2. A large (#18), medium (#12) and small (#8) synthetic brush. If you already have brushes, bring what you are comfortable with. If not, Dynasty makes a very,  very affordable Black and Silver that is available at The Brush Guys (and other places).  Kris prefers the “flat” style, but “filberts” and “brights” would also work. 3. A palette knife if you have one.  I will have some available. 4. Paper towels 5. A plastic bag for trash 6. Pad of paper palettes 7. Medium jar with lid 8. Oil paints if you have them.
