Craft with the Currier Museum of Art

The Currier Museum of Art is asking you to join in the creation of their newest exhibition: Galleries of Trees. This exhibition, on view December 2, 2026 through January 10, 2027, is a celebration of storytelling and the museum's collection of original artwork by NH children's book author and illustrator Tomie dePaola. A collection of trees will be displayed around the galleries, each themed for one of dePaola's beloved stories, decorated with ornaments handmade by you! The Currier will be hosting a 'crafternoon' to make these decorations at the Merrimack Public Library in Klumpp Room on November 21st. Drop in anytime between 10 and 1! Artists of all ages are welcome, but those under 6 years of age will need parental help. We invite you to make a decoration for Galleries of Trees and one to take home for yourself.
