Experiment with Solar Power: Learn to Make a Solar Oven

Learn how solar power can be used for sustainable cooking by working in teams using everyday and upcycled materials to craft a solar oven. As part of the Ledger-Transcript’s “Preserving Our Region” initiative, the Jaffrey Public Library, Franklin Pierce Institute for Climate Action and Monadnock Ledger-Transcript are teaming up to offer this program for youth ages 8 to 12. All materials will be provided. Registration is required. This is a two-part event, so please commit to attending both sessions.
