Ghost Hunting 101: A Library of Things Demonstration

In celebration of the Jaffrey Public Library’s newest Library of Things collection, join us for Ghost Hunting 101, an introduction to the tools and techniques used in paranormal investigation. We'll explore the science behind the equipment, demonstrate how it works, and examine how paranormal investigators interpret the readings they collect. Learn to use an EMF detector and infrared thermometer to investigate unusual environmental readings, an audio recorder to capture and review Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP), motion-activated light balls used in paranormal investigations, and more. Whether you're a longtime fan of ghost-hunting shows or simply curious about what all those gadgets actually do, come learn how to use some of the tools made famous by television—in the comfort of your own library! This program is intended for adults and teens ages 14 . Space is limited to 10 participants. Registration required.
