2 Man Trio is a Durham-based acoustic/electric duo featuring Chris Gowland and Mike Hawley. Using live looping, layered guitars, and harmonized vocals, they build a full band sound from just two players. Their set blends alternative and roots-rock covers from today and the past few decades—artists like The Wallflowers, Tom Petty, Chris Stapleton, John Mayer, Ray LaMontagne, The Decemberists, plus a few familiar classics.
