Sewing Basics- Making Costumes!
Join local seamstress Lindsey Bashelor for a special 2-part sewing program, where you will learn to sew a simple vest and skirt inspired by Renaissance Faire costumes, start to finish, in a two-day workshop. Whether you want make your own costume for the next Renaissance Faire or Halloween, or simply want to learn some of the basics of sewing your own clothes, this is a great opportunity to learn repeatable skills. (You can even check out a library sewing machine after the program or book the sewing studio keep sewing following this class!) This program is especially designed for adults and teens 13 , but children ages 10 are welcome with an adult caregiver to assist them. In order to provide individualized attention, this program is limited to SIX machines. Please take the commitment seriously as we are holding a place for you. Sewing machine experience is not required. All materials will be provided. Registration is required.
