Summer Film Lecture Series: The Game

Join Doug and Siobhan on select Wednesdays at 1 pm from June through August for our Summer Film Lecture Series! Escape the heat in our air-conditioned Salem Family Auditorium and enjoy a classic movie. Each movie will be preceded by a short film lecture given by either Doug or Siobhan. Free and open to all. Registration recommended. July 29 - The Game (1997) Nicholas Van Orton is a successful banker who keeps mostly to himself. When his estranged brother gives him an odd birthday gift -- participation in a personalized, real-life game -- Nicholas reluctantly accepts. Initially harmless, the game grows increasingly personal, and Orton begins to fear for his life as he eludes agents from the mysterious game's organizers.
