The Griffin Free Public Library Annual Book Sale!

Mark your calendar for the annual book sale at the Auburn Village School gym on Saturday, July 25 from 8am to 3pm and Sunday, July 26 from 11am to 3pm! Entrance is free during regular hours. Early Bird access on the 25th from 7am to 8am is available for $10. Judging by the thousands upon thousands of books, audio materials and more that have been donated as of this writing, this year’s sale is going to be the biggest ever! Browse special tables for rare and collectible items and Friends of the Library favorites, as well as a massive selection of books, audio books, DVDs, CDs, games, puzzles and more for children and adults. Adult books are priced at $1 for paperbacks and $2 for hardcovers. Children’s books in the children’s section are 50 cents. There are also older children’s book and antique books in a separate section. On Sunday, July 26, shoppers may fill a bag provided by the library for $5, fill their own bag for $10, or purchase a tote bag with a 2026 coupon from The Friends of Griffin Free Public Library and fill it for free. The tote bags are available for $20 at the library prior to the sale or during the book sale on the 25th and 26th. We will be accepting donations for the sale at the library until July 18. All proceeds from the sale will help fund Griffin Free Public Library programming, such as the Summer Reading Program, events, author presentations and more.
